About Us

Our team, our dream, our scheme.

A staff of dedicated dog people.

Ruff Roads Mobile Grooming continues to build its client base with expert, attentive, dog-friendly grooming services. Our focus is on the dogs and the humans who have entrusted us with their care.

We work the Vancouver metro area. We’ll travel up north to Ridgefield, out east to Camas, and west to downtown Vancouver. Ask about our service range.

Our van is a new, state-of-the-art grooming vehicle. It keeps us on time and on schedule, and it’s stocked with its own supplies of water and electricity. All you need is the dog!

Our History

We were dog lovers before we were dog groomers. Every member of our staff has dogs, and our affection for these furry family members informs everything we do as a business.

We started our mobile grooming company because we saw a need for premium grooming services at competitive prices. What most groomers consider extras or perks — that almost always cost more — we consider essential.

Our customers agreed. For this reason, we simplified our bundled services and the prices that go along with them. Now, we are regularly booked — and regularly rebooked.

Get in touch, and you’ll see why.

Our Partnerships

Ruff Roads believes in working with other local businesses and nonprofit organizations to help build and strengthen our community. With that in mind, we work closely with several organizations dedicated to the wellbeing of humans’ best friends.

Autism Service Dogs of America

This Portland nonprofit organization, which began in 2002, helps children with special needs. It was founded by Priscilla Taylor, who has a background in special education. She noticed that there were many nonprofit, community-based, service dog agencies — but none that provided specially trained dogs for children with autism.

Guide Dogs for the Blind

This organization goes all the way back to 1942. Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) prepares guide dogs to “serve and empower individuals who are blind or have low vision from throughout the United States and Canada.” Ruff Roads hosted a fundraising event for this important nonprofit.

We look forward to continuing and expanding these partnerships, as well as working with others. If you are interested in partnering with Ruff Roads, please contact us!
